Jiten slams Pradyot for keeping BJP in power by misleading tribals

Agartala, May 12 (FD) The leader of the opposition and CPI-M’s Secretary in Tripura has criticized ‘Tipra Motha’ Supremo, Pradyot Kishore Debbarma allegedly for his continuous endevour to keep BJP in power by misleading the simple hearted tribal people in the state.

“The Tipra Motha supremo is always busy in keeping BJP in power by misleading the simple hearted tribals of the state. He is doing all these in the name of politics, but it bounce on him soon”, Chowdhury told reporters.

Pradyot claims that 90% of the tribals belong to his party and they are happy. “He won the elections to the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) in the year 2021 by camping for Greater Tipraland, but after capturing power his party remained completely silent over the issue”, he said.

Once Pradyot also raised the issue of no compromise with BJP, but gradually entered into the womb of the party.

He declared fast into death, but suddenly flew to Delhi to sign a tripartite accord there which was to be implemented in six months, but a year has passed, but there is no sign of implementing the accord.

Chowdhury said the Motha chief has now called for bringing back Chakla Roshanabad, which is utterly impractical and he is doing so to divert the attention of the people about the long pending issue like Village Committee electons.

“Why he is not raising demands for teachers recruitments in the tribal council area, where at least 300 schools have no teachers?” he asked.

Chowdhury alleged that the condition of the tribals is deplorable and they are becoming more backward in the regime of BJP-Motha alliance. “Why the tribal people are selling their infants, has he any answer?” he asked. FD JK
